No Child Left Behind! He stumped,
And we hired more teachers on the cheap.
And we passed laws to reduce class size,
so they could better teach our brats and creeps.
Oops! Bankers took all the money,
Like rats they scurried out of sight,
"Don't blame us!" bankers pleaded,
As they duped us in the dark night.
"We are only lowly bankers,"
"The real culprits are the unions!"
Like sheep we ganged up on the teachers,
because they wanted a decent living,
but reason flipped on its head,
sees villains where good is instead.
